I volti dell’anima – Faces of the soul

Solo exhibition

March 19 – May 31, 2022

From March 19 to May 31, 2022 my solo exhibition of watercolor and acrylic paintings was held at the Rome Temple Visitors’ Center. The exhibition was focused on faces of men, women and children: voiceless faces that speak of love, serenity and peace, but also of innocence in a world of harmony and sacredness.

My artistic journey finds in contemporary art a way out of a certain isolation due to the very strict rules that traditional painting has always followed. My research has allowed me to experiment with new ways of expressing myself and to find new balances between the tradition codified by millennia-old codes of Tibetan spiritual art and contemporary art where inspiration and realization favor creativity and imagination. In this sense, contemporary art is a freer medium for expressing feelings. Connecting people with their feelings is an important goal for me. In this sense, my great challenge is to find a balance and a means to enable the evolution of an art anchored in a culture that is in danger of disappearing, but at the same time static.

Painting is a means to connect with people’s hearts and minds. A very interesting challenge from an artistic, cultural and human point of view.
