“Sounds & Spaces” Art Exhibition

On September 26, 2020 the cultural association Dynamic Space of the Elements launched the art exhibition “Sounds and Spaces”, held at Merger West (Mandala Room). The exhibition gathered  the work of several artists from the Dzogchen Community, including the Dynamic Space of the Elements, Fabio Andrico, Giorgio Dallorto, and Kunga. Their works were linked in a particular way to the Teaching of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.

The Dynamic Space of the Elements exhibited several particular paintings representing the five elements of Tibetan astrology, painted in traditional Tibetan style using precious stones, natural pigments, and gold leaf. Some of their later paintings presented traditional Tibetan folk tales were also exhibited.

Among the painting of the Dynamic Space of the Elements, of Fabio Andirco and the Calligrapher Giorgio Dallorto that offered two large calligraphic paintings
written in golden Uchen script, Tibetan artist Kunga displayed several large colorful portraits:  ” painting is like a meditation for me”. Each of his paintings include verses in khyu yig script.

During the exhibition was also displayed Chögyal Namkhai Norbu’s flutes collection made of pieces from different materials, from different parts
of the world and different time periods.
